Sparkles' Safety Spot -(www.sparklesthefiresafetydog.com/sparklessafetyspot.html)  Children and
their caregivers tune in to this weekly 20-minute live streaming program where one or more of the
following learning outcomes are addressed.  

1.        Children and their caregivers will learn to recognize the firefighter as a helper and a friend
2.        Children and their caregivers will learn to stay away from hot things that hurt
3.        Children and their caregivers will learn to cool a burn with cool water
4.        Children and their caregivers will learn to tell a grown-up when you find matches or a lighter
5.        Children and their caregivers will learn to stop, drop, and roll if your clothes catch fire
6.        Children and their caregivers will learn to know the sound and purpose of a smoke alarm
7.        Children and their caregivers will learn to practice a home fire drill using your escape map
8.        Children and their caregivers  will learn to crawl low under smoke

Education Curriculum by Oklahoma State University’s Fire Protection Publications.
